Partisia Blockchain Launches First Smart Contract For Developers

MILESTONE ALERT

Our team celebrated the launch of the first smart contract available for developers to deploy on Partisia Blockchain. The smart contract powers voting on issues and includes an interface via our block explorer for end-users to submit votes.

The decision to move forward with voting as our first smart contract was driven by our fascination with the rise of DAOs, or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations. While Partisia Blockchain is not structured as a DAO, we strongly believe in the argument that DAOs are the organizational form for the internet.

Smart contracts on Partisia Blockchain contain infinite possibilities — but providing the infrastructure for decentralized consensus is foundational. As we march toward the full release of mainnet later this year, you’ll see more announcements regarding tools for developers.

With an obsession on developer experience, we will provide the best tools to maximize developer productivity for all participants in our ecosystem.
