Near Term Roadmap Towards The Next Gen dApps!

Hello to our Partisian Community,

We are here with a quick update. First, the team at Partisia Blockchain Foundation is continuing our work applying our singular expertise in combining privacy-securing multi-party computation with transparent, decentralized Web3 technologies to build a platform and an ecosystem of applications capable of solving some of humanity’s most pressing economic and societal challenges. Though we are not blind to the well-publicized recent challenges faced by some in our industry, we just want to simply state that the funding raised for further developing and bringing Partisia Blockchain to the world has not been impacted. In fact, our development work and ecosystem growth are the strongest they have ever been as we prepare to go to market next year!

Since the birth of bitcoin, this industry has grown from nothing into a trillion dollar global economy, and the industry building around blockchain technology remains one of the most exciting in the world. Its infinite potential use cases will enable a world economy with more transparency, trust, opportunity, and inclusion than we have ever experienced.

This is where Partisia Blockchain stands apart. Our team has been involved in advanced cryptography research since the 80’s, Partisia has been building commercial grade cryptography solutions since 2008, and for the past 5 years, we have been dedicated to our mission with Partisia Blockchain — to bring decentralized trust in the form of a scalable layer 1 blockchain with built-in advance privacy-preserving computation and cross-chain interoperability. Throughout the work we have done, we’ve remained committed to our foundational principles of executing with integrity on high quality solutions. We’ve carefully architected, built, tested, and launched our products, refusing to rush to market during bullish times. Because of this consistency, we’ll be ready at the start of next year with a rock solid product that scales.

Near Term Roadmap

With our heads down building, it’s important to highlight some of the recent developments and what’s coming next:

Pre-Mainnet Node Operator Rewards

• We’ve delivered our pre-mainnet rewards to our earliest node operators, and are in the final stages of delivering the remaining bonuses and rewards to other node operators who have been with us since the beginning.

Community Staking

• Community staking is targeted to go live on November 30, allowing anyone to delegate tokens to a node and receive additional token utility in the form of staking rewards. The exact reward periods will be detailed when Community Staking is launched.

MPC Transferability

• Unlock period for early contributors begins as scheduled this month and unlocked tokens across the ecosystem can participate in bootstrapping the network through Community Staking (see details dedicate Rewards and Staking AMA). The MPC tokens, however, will become transferable at a later stage subject to a network governance decision.

Synaps KYB integration Complete

• We’ve successfully completed the Synaps integration for businesses to Partisia Blockchain which allows whitelisted Node Ops to join committees and start producing blocks. This ensures trusted decentralization, where our node operators will never be susceptible to consolidation into the hands of a few node operators.

Kickstart the next gen dApps

• With version 3.0 of the entire network and BYOC integration with Ethereum, Polygon and other networks soon to come, the full power of the built-in privacy-preserving computation and interoperability is ready for projects and application builders around the globe.
